Pilates…the fastest hour of the week?

When I first started teaching Pilates in 2012, I taught large group classes across Belfast as a freelance teacher. I had 15-20 people in a class. I really enjoyed it and I loved regularly receiving feedback from my clients that my classes were great for learning good technique.

But I knew I wanted to give my clients more.

I trained as a Romana’s Pilates teacher and finished my comprehensive classical Pilates certification in 2019 to teach the full Pilates system, which includes the matwork and all of the Pilates equipment (reformer, tower, spine corrector and lots more).

This training gave me a crystal clear picture of how the whole system fits together and how I use it to help my clients to achieve their goals to become stronger and feel good in their bodies, to do more of what they love.

Nowadays I love working one-to-one and in small groups where I can give you more value through more tailored and individual attention. This helps you to understand the why rather than just what it looks like to do an exercise, which gives you true value for the commitment you put into your Pilates practice.

You will learn to feel Pilates in your body and that’s when you will reap the benefits you want — more flexibility, more strength, more mobility, better balance, and better posture that will help keep aches and pains at bay.

The more you practice, the more aware you are of how you use and move your body — and the more you can use what you learn in your sessions with me to feel good in your body in the rest of your life. People regularly tell me how when they were doing ‘X’ (e.g. a long walk, running, horse-riding, cycling) that they remembered what we do in class or their private sessions and they use it to get up that steep hill on their walk, run without pain, ride for longer, and lots of other good stuff.

Hands up, who wants that?

One of the best moments is also when they tell me “that’s the fastest hour of the week”, because we all know that time flies when you’re having fun.

Who wants that? Me too.

Are you ready to get the same benefits from Pilates? Let’s chat about the best plan to get you started. I have an intro offer to get you off to a flying start.

If you’re already a client, know that I love teaching you and I am grateful you chose me to guide you in your practice. Let’s keep rocking (and rolling like ball).
